I worked in a major franchise pet store over 30 years ago as a bird salesman where I learned some basic bird behavior training and grooming. There were birds in the store that could not be sold as they were too vicious or afraid of people. They often bit people that tried to handle them. I still remember thinking it would be so great if people could have enjoyed those birds instead of struggling with them.
Since then I helped some friends and neighbors with their birds along the way in my life. About seven years ago some friends that had seen me work with birds encouraged me to develop my experience with exotic pet birds into a business.
KC Bird Whisperer International are dedicated to the enjoyment of pet birds and the promotion of related products, services and events.
About two years ago I put our bird training and grooming productions on hold to develop a bird talk internet radio show known as ‘Bird Talk LIVE Online’. These are LIVE call-in bird talk radio shows recorded LIVE and broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year from our streaming server. Since my experience with the difficult birds in the pet store over 30 years ago I always wondered if I might some day find a way to help many people enjoy their birds more and be more successful keeping pet birds. Bird Talk Radio has become a fulfillment of my hope and desire to be an asset to the aviculture community and people thinking about having a pet bird.
